Made from stainless steel and copper, the metal leaves move in the wind and change color with light at nightfall. Trees that needed to come down were repurposed in creative ways. Slices of long leaf pine taken from the site hang as art in stairwells (right) while others were made into tables (far right). The tabletop reveals the tree’s center where the sap would be stored. “We were trying to complement the architecture and have an organic feel,” says interior designer Susan Bozeman. 66 WBM march 2016
